My favorite new craft gadget is my Silhouette Cameo craft cutter. I can cut paper, card stock, magnet material, sticker vinyl and lots more media into all sorts of interesting shapes, borders and 3D crafts. It's a simple Adobe PDF that you can print and cut or trace and cut with the cutter.

This 8-point stars cut out sheet can be printed and cut out by hand to make holiday decorations or sheriff badges. If you have a Cameo that can work with STUDIO shape files, there's also a download of the basic shape file you can customize and use for your own starry night craft designs.

Thinking About Christmas Foodie Gifts

I know, Christmas is 6 months away, but I'm already thinking about making jams, jellies and other food gifts with our summer harvest bounty. Last week we picked strawberries, the week before that cherries. Next week the blueberries will be starting - I am fast filling up the freezer with fresh organic fruit.
